Meet Mario, a resilient and special polydactyl cat we recently rescued from the Queensbridge projects. Abandoned and left to fend for himself, Mario was found skinny and malnourished, desperately trying to enter one of the buildings. Neighbors informed us that his previous owners had abandoned him. Starving and unsure what to eat first, we provided him with much-needed food, and he devoured it gratefully. Now safe in our rescue house, Mario has been fed and is comfortable, showing his loving and gentle nature.
Despite his rough start, Mario is incredibly affectionate and enjoys being around people. He is adored by everyone who meets him. Mario needs a lot of love and care to continue thriving and would make a wonderful addition to any family. He is ready for his forever home, where he can receive the love and attention he deserves.
